May 11, 2007, UC Davis

We are pleased to announce the 4th annual Cosmology in Northern California Workshop. The CINC series aims to bring the local cosmology community together and offers a great opportunity for young researchers to broaden their exposure. All researchers in the region (or happen to be arround) are welcome to this informal gathering, and we especially encourage new members of the community to participate.

UC Davis Physics Department will host CINC'07 on Friday, May 11, 2007. The workshop will be held in the Cabernet room at the Silo Union. Seating is limited, so please register as soon as possible.

As in the past, there will be research talks and topical discussions. In addition, you are all invited to join us for happy hour/dinner in downtown Davis. The talks will be 12+3 minutes long and will concentrate on student and postdoctoral research, and that of faculty new to the region in the last year. More established researchers contribute through the discussions.

Suggestions for the topical discussions are welcome. Possible topics are: systematics of dark energy probes, synergy between ground-based and space surveys, innovative use of survey data, etc.

Past workshops: CINC'06
